Biography

Professor João Carlos Camilo,
Holds a degree in Law from the State University of Minas Gerais and in Administration from Westminster Kingsway College in London. He is an entrepreneur, speaker, and author of the book Biorremediação na Atualidade — do colapso ambiental à regeneração da vida (Current Perspectives on Bioremediation: From Environmental Collapse to the Regeneration of Life). A researcher, he serves as a state councilor on the Watershed Committee and the Minas Gerais State Environmental Policy Council (COPAM), where he is a member of the Mining Chamber. He is the Administrative Director of IDAU TAP (Institute of Environmental and Urban Law of the Triângulo Mineiro and Alto Paranaíba) and a founding partner of Solos Solution, an environmental biotechnology company based in Uberlândia, Minas Gerais, Brazil.
